John Yarde was born with musical talent, having gifted genes passed on from his mother, Shirley Yarde, former member of the Nazarene Silvertones. As a boy, John sang in the Sunday school choir but his real passion was initially found behind the drums. There was never any intention to be any kind of artiste, worship leader or music minister.
