Joseph Niles Legacy Lecture in association with COSCAP

Description

The Pentecostal Assemblies of the West Indies (PAWI) Joseph Niles Legacy Lecture, in association with COSCAP, is an annual event that honours the contribution of the Barbadian Gospel Music Icon, Joseph Niles, to local, regional and international Gospel music during his ministry, which spanned more than 40 years.

This year's lecture will be titled:

"What An Experience! Christians In The Crop Over Festival"
 
Presenter: Beverley A Wood
Beverley Wood is a librarian at the UWI Cave Hill Campus. She holds a BA (English) and a Masters in Library Science, and is committed to life-long learning. Beverley’s interests include Caribbean literature and culture and the practice of librarianship in the Caribbean. She has published and presented in these areas and also is a member of the editorial team of the Caribbean Library Journal. A lover of several musical genres, Beverley has developed an interest in the local Gospel Calypso tents.
